Our Christmas Project R | Each week we will collect donations to our Christmas Project supporting the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart working with the Jesuit Refugee Service in Rwanda. We would like to provide a classroom, books and equipment for some of the 6,000 children who are among 18,000 refugees from the Congo. We need to raise about £3,500 to meet our target. |  | We read about the high level of truancy in England where the children have every opportunity to learn, while these children in Rwanda are desperate to learn but have no books or equipment. |  | We hope and pray that our giving to them will give then hope and encouragement. We have so much and they have so little. Let us include them in our Christmas preparations in a generous way - giving much more to those who have nothing then we do to those who have more than they need. There are special envelopes in the porch of the Church - or use your own and mark it "Christmas Project" Thank you BREAKING NEWS Parish Project achieved £3,500 will be sent to the project administrators within the next week.
