HOLY WEEK RETREAT…..
Following a visit to the parish by Fr Joseph O’Hanlon, we now have a programme for Holy Week..Fr. Joe O’Hanlon will be with us for the whole week, starting with Palm Sunday. A team of people are working on plans and so we look forward to Lent and Holy week as a Spiritually enriching time – Scripture study, Meditation on the Passion, helping the poor through our Friday Self Denial, Lenten Station Masses, Garment of Suffering With Prayer for Healing, Confession, reconciliation etc.

9.30am Mass followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
12 noon Benediction
2.00pm Retreat for Filipino people in the church until 5pm
7.30pm Women at the Crucifixion
Tuesday
9.30am Mass followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
12 noon Benediction
7.30pm Men at the crucifixion
Wednesday
9.30am Mass followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament until 12
7.30pm Sacrament of Penance
HOLY THURSDAY
9.30am Mass followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
12 noon Benediction
7.30pm Mass of the Last Supper, washing of feet,
and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
GOOD FRIDAY
A day of Fast and Abstinence
3.00pm Solemn proclamation of the death of Jesus
with Veneration of the Holy Cross
7.30pm Traditional Stations of the Cross
HOLY SATURDAY
8.00pm Easter Vigil – This night is one of vigil for the Lord.
We celebrate the Resurrection with a Service of Light, the Liturgy of the Word, the Liturgy of Baptism, and the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
EASTER SUNDAY
9.00am Mass – The Lord has risen, alleluia!
10.30am Mass with Baptisms
