Passion and Easter
Garment of Suffering
Our garment of suffering was created during Lent when parishioners brought in a small piece of cloth to represent the suffering of their family.
They have been all stiched together with each piece of cloth touching another represnting the support we do give and can offer to each other when we suffer.
The garment of suffering was drapped over the Venerated Cross during Holy Week on Easter sunday it was tied to the lectern where it will hang until Pentecost when it will be burnt.
